Mr. Zinterhofer is a Founding Partner of Searchlight. He serves on the Investment Committee, Operating Committee and Valuation Committee, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners.

He serves on the portfolio company boards of Searchlight including Care Advantage and TelevisaUnivision. Additionally, Mr. Zinterhofer serves as Lead Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Charter Communications and serves on the Board of Directors of The Estée Lauder Companies.

Previously, Mr. Zinterhofer served on the portfolio company boards of Searchlight including Electric Lightwave, General Communications, Inc., Global Eagle, Hemisphere, Liberty Latin America, Octave, Roots, and Ziply Fiber. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, he was a senior partner at Apollo Management in New York.

Mr. Zinterhofer received a BA in both honors economics and European history, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
