Mr. Zinterhofer is a Founding Partner of Searchlight. He serves on the Investment Committee, Operating Committee and Valuation Committee, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners.

He serves on the portfolio company boards of Searchlight including Care Advantage, Liberty Latin America, and TelevisaUnivision. Mr. Zinterhofer additionally serves as Chairman on the board of Charter Communications, and serves on the board of The Estee Lauder Companies.

Previously, Mr. Zinterhofer served on the portfolio company boards of Searchlight including Electric Lightwave, General Communications, Inc., Global Eagle, Hemisphere, Octave, Roots, and Ziply Fiber. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, he was a senior partner at Apollo Management in New York.

Mr. Zinterhofer received a BA in both honors economics and European history, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
